Arab Gulf papers call on the Pope to apologize for what crusaders inflicted on Arabs, Muslims
Among several Arab Gulf dailies issued on Monday, the Saudi daily al-Jazira called on the Vatican's Pope to apologize over damages inflicted on Arabs and Muslims as a result of the Crusaders wars and the support of the Christian world to the " Zionist Jews."
In its Monday's commentary the paper noted that it is ripe time now that the Arab and Islamic world will hear from the Pope of the Catholic Church and from the land of Syria "the land of Arabs and Muslims" a brave apology over what was inflicted on Arabs and Muslims as a result not only of the Crusaders wars but also the support of the Christian world to the Zionist Jews who usurped Palestine and converted the Middle east into an era of tension and unrest.
The paper added that by such an apology, Muslims will touch upon an evidence on a live intention for reciprocated understanding between Muslims and Christian clergies in order to maintain cooperation over what has been fabricated by the Jews, the enemies of the two religions ( Islam and Christianity), who violated Muslim and Christian holy shrines in Jerusalem and all Palestinian territories.
