Syrian- Iraqi cooperation relations

The Syrian minister of oil and mineral resources Maher Jamal on Wednesday in Baghdad held talks with the Iraqi minister of industry and minerals Adnan Abdul Miguid dealt with the development of cooperation between the two states.

In a statement, the Syrian minister stressed Syria's desire to foster and expand industrial and economic cooperation with Iraq "through implementing joint projects between the two countries in the course of Arab economic integration."

The Syrian oil minister arrived in Baghdad on Monday evening arrived in Baghdad leading an official delegation to Iraq in a visit which will last for three days.
