Press world cup round to be held in Marrakesh

The first round of journalists and news media World Cup will be held in Marrakesh (320 km south of Rabat) May 27 through June 3.

About 16 teams from Algeria, France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates and Morocco are expected to take part in the tournament.

The event is organized by the Press World Games Association and the Moroccan Sports Press Association (AMPS).

About 500 journalists, media people and accompanying personnel are expected to take part in this exceptional event.

The program will include two round table discussions on "Sports, Vehicles for Friendship Between Peoples" and "The Role of Sports in Economic Development."
