The Pope will pray in Quneitra for the sake of peace

The Vatican on Thursday said that Pope John Paul II will pray for peace during his visit to the liberated Syrian city of al-Quneitra during his visit to Syrian in may. News reports said that that Pope is due to perform this prayer on May 7th in the Orthodox church in the city of Quneitra which was destroyed by the Israeli forces before their withdrawal from it.

The Vatican on Thursday announced the tour of the Pope which is decided on May from 4 to throughout 9 which will also include Greece and Malta in addition to Syria.
