Al-Assad: Syria will not keep silence towards the continued Israeli aggression
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has announced that Syria, leadership and people will not stay " hand tightened " towards the continued Israeli aggression against the Arab nation." This was expressed during the meeting held on Wednesday afternoon in Damascus for the Baath Arab Socialist Party Regional Leadership.
The Syrian President added that Israel's accusations that the Arabs are responsible for the violence and that its attacks are but a sort of legitimate self- defense are but a great deceit campaign, regrettably, at a large scale in the world to justify this very Israeli aggression.
He said that the greatest evidence on Israel's aggressiveness that all acts of killing, destruction and bombardment depicted by the world mass media are taking place on an occupied Arab territories or against a neighboring Arab state and target Arab citizens, Palestinians, Lebanese and Syrians.
Members of the Baath party regional leadership made a comprehensive evaluation to developments in the region in light of the national stances voiced by President Bashar al-Assad during the session and his previous speeches. They stressed their total confidence in the ability of the Syrian people to continue their steadfastness in defiance of current challenges.
