The topic was reviewed at a meeting between visiting Moroccan minister of industry, trade, energy and mining, Mustapha Mansouri, and Iraqi oil minister, Amer Mohamed Rachid.

Mansouri reviewed other fields of cooperation in various meetings he held with Iraqi officials, including ministers of transports, telecoms and housing and the mayor of Baghdad.
The volume of exchanges between the two countries is presently estimated at $ 267 million.
Baghdad is also hosting an exhibition of made-in-Morocco food, pharmaceutical, electronic and mechanic products with the participation of 120 Moroccan companies.
