Egypt keen on boosting developing countries conference
Egypt is keen on supporting the 3rd conference of the international organization for least developed countries, said Ambassador Ahmad Abul-Gheit, Egypt's Permanent Delegate to the United Nations (UN).
He expressed hope that the conference would come up with a realistic programme of action that involves clear-cut steps to be implemented via an agreed-upon timetable.
"This program will help developing countries achieve a qualitative leap for the peoples of the least developed countries," said Abul-Gheit.
He warned against the state of marginalisation suffered by developing countries within the globalization.
