Moroccan - Syrian cooperation probed in Rabat

Moroccan-Syrian cooperation in matters of planning was probed at a meeting in Rabat last week between visiting Syrian minister of planning, Issam Azaim, and Moroccan minister of economic forecast and planning, Abdelhamid Aouad. The two sides exchanged information on the action program of their respective departments and agreed to keep in touch to examine practical modalities to promote cooperation in matters of planning.

Aouad briefed the Syrian official on the Moroccan 2000-2004 development plan, how it was drafted and how it is being followed up.
