Palestinian Authorities closes the office of al-Jazira TV

Eye-witnesses said that the Palestinian Authorities on Wednesday closed the office of the al- Jazira TV satellite station in Ramullah and prevented its employees from entering it.

The eye-witnesses explained the members of the Palestinian security men are stationed outside the building where the al-Jazira offices are situated in Ramullah after other security men arrived in the office on Tuesday and ordered its workers to leave the building without revealing reasons behind this measure.

But Palestinian sources attributed reasons behind this Palestinian measure to protests over scenes included in a program screened by al-Jazira TV under the title " the Lebanese war," and gave no other details.
