Power Linkage project a key achievement

Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa Wednesday said that the launch of an electricity project by President Hosni Mubarak, Syrian President Bashar AL-Assad and King Abdullah of Jordan earlier in the day marked a key accomplishment. The project will link as of today Syria, Jordan, Egypt and Libya. Lebanon will join later. The entire Arab nation will be connected to this project," added Moussa.

He accompanied President Mubarak during his brief visit to Damascus. He said that the giant project would foster Arab interests.
