Islamists denounce the British law against terrorism
Islamic organizations and activists in the field of human rights denounced the new British law on fighting terrorism and the British government release of a list including the names of 21 organization, it considered as terrorist.
The Islamic organizations and activists warned against the repetition of the American experience, considering that the British law is in contradiction with the charters relating to human rights and the international laws: The Lebanese Hizbullah party said in a statement that what was stated in the classification of the British ministry of the Interior only reflects that the British policy is just a follower to the American policy.
The Islamic resistance movement ( Hamas ) rejected the British decision.
Its spokesman Ibrahim Ghoushe told reporters " Hamas" refuses this decision and denounces it and considered it as a reflection to what has been made by the US several year ago. He stressed that "al- Qassam groups practices a legitimate resistance in the occupied palestinian territories against the Israeli occupation which Britain had basically contributed to its establishment since 30 years."
The director of the Islamic Information Center Yasser al-Serri, who is an Egyptian living in London and in charge of monitoring violations of the rights of Muslims said that the new British law will " lead to poison relations between Britain and the Islamists."
The same reaction was expressed by the founder of "al-Muhajeroun" movement Omar Bakri. He said that the law on fighting terrorism is a terrorist law in itself and will not serve the government ( the British Government), rather will create a lot of enemies for her.
He added that the " Mediation of the British government between two conflicting sides is an acceptable matter, but if it takes the position of one side, this will makes it involved in conflicts."
He added that Islamic human rights organizations will start campaigns against this law.
