Al-Assad meets with the Arab Bar association delegation

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad on Wednesday received the delegation representing the Arab Bar Association (ABA). Discussions of current Arab issues, the need to support the Palestinian Intifada and restoration of the occupied Arab lands according to international legitimacy resolutions, and the need to lift the sanctions on the Iraqi people, reactivating Arab solidarity and the role played by Arab lawyers in defending the causes of the Arab nation.

The delegation comprised the ABA secretary general Farouk Abu Issa, the chairman of the association Samih Ashour and other officials concerned.
