Al-Assad is expected to visit Sudan

Sudan's foreign minister Mustafa Othman Ismael said that his country is continuously making contacts with the Arab states and that it expects President Bashar al-Assad to visit Sudan.

In an interview with the Saudi daily Okaz Ismael added that the Arab region returned back to the phase of the " no peace, no war" after the Israeli Likud party Ariel Sharon, noting the Arab attitude is to attain peace.

He called for the need of purifying the Arab atmospheres and fostering inter- Arab relations after Sharon has assumed power in Israel, after he disclosed the priorities of his government.
