Algerian liberal officers movement
The Algerian movement for army officers liberals which includes "split" military-men said that 47 Algerian army officers were killed in a barrack to the south of the capital Algiers after they refused to take part in crimes against civilians.
A statement released by the Algerian movement for the liberal army officers said that the 47 army officers were held in underground- cells in Buqar barrack to the south of Algiers near Qaser al-Bukhari city. But the statement did not indicate the names or grades of the officers who were about to complete their imprisonment sentence on 15th of next March.
The statement which bears the signature of Col. Ali Baali said that those army officers were isolated in one wing of the prison and after they were gathered together they were killed in a cold blood on February 25 at the hands of a special commandos group linked to the security and intelligence administration sent to the prison by the two Generals Muhammad Le'mari and Muhammad Medyan, who are the army chief of staff and the chief of the intelligence, respectively.
The statement considered what happened as a flagrant liquidation of eyewitnesses who lived up with the Algerian crisis, adding that there will not be silence about this matter and will be highlighted in Algeria and before international establishments.
