King Abdullah postpones visit to Iran

Originally published

A Jordanian official said on Monday that the Jordanian King Abdullah II will not head for Iran by the end of this month as it was decided before and that his visit was postponed until unlimited time.

The same official who asked not to be identified said in a statement to the AFP that developments of conditions in the region did not permit setting a final date for the King's visit to Tehran, SANA reported.

Iran's ambassador in Amman Nasratullah Tajik recently said to the Jordanian media that King Abdullah will pay his visit to Iran by the end of February.
