Fishery issue between Morocco, Spain

Originally published

The Moroccan dailies issued on Tuesday said that 25 Moroccan lorries loaded by 248 tons of Moroccan fishes are held at al-Jazira al-Khadra ( the green Island) port because of the strike observed by the Spanish fishermen.

The source added that lorries loaded by 82 tons of Moroccan fishes were exposed to strong checking, which was the first of its kind in order to obstruct the entry of these lorries to the European markets.

Worthy mentioning that the Spanish fishermen union exerts through strike pressures on Morocco to renew the sea fishing between Morocco and the European Union with the aim of subjugating Morocco to their conditions.
