$ 100 million tourism project launched in Agadir
A large scale investment tourism project was launched Monday in Agadir to build a $ 100-million hotel complex.
The foundation stone of the project was laid by Moroccan economy, finance, privatization and tourism minister, Fathallah Oualalou, and Sheikh Salah Abdellah Kamel, President of the governing board of the Palais des Roses International firm, which will carry out the project.
The project, to be built over 24 hectares, includes two five-star hotels of 800 beds each and two other four-star hotels with a capacity of 400 beds each.
The firm will also set up a 1800-seat convention center, with 12 commission halls and two cinemas. The project will generate some 1,000 permanent jobs.
