Palestinian Authority in dire Need of Support to Face Sharon's Xenophobe Policy, Ambassador
The Palestinian authority is in dire need of support on the part of its brothers and friends to face up the xenophobe and hostile policy of newly elected Israeli Premier, Ariel Sharon, said Palestinian ambassador to Morocco, Wajih Hassan Ali Kacem (Abu Marwane).
The diplomat who was commenting Sharon's victory in the Israeli general elections told the Moroccan TV "RTM" the Palestinian people and the Palestinian state will take the necessary arrangements to face up this difficult phase.
In view of Sharon's racist policy, the Intifada (popular uprising) will be carried on, Abu Marwane said, adding that crises in the region will find no way out. Even if he is compelled to negotiate, Sharon shall not reach any solution, nor shall he recognize any of the Palestinian people's rights, regarding either the liberation of their land, the return of refugees or the liberation of Al-Quds (Jerusalem), the diplomat said.
"let's not be deceived by the first phase of Sharon's term as he will attempt to hide his hideous face, wearing the mask of a moderate seeking peace," Abu Marwane said. Sharon is determined to reach no solution, the Palestinian diplomat insisted.
