Kidnapper of the Yemeni plane sentences for 15 years imprisonment

A criminal court in Sanaa on Saturday sentenced the Yemeni Jaber Sattar who high-jacked a plane for the Yemeni airlines for 15 years imprisonment.

News reports said that the court also sentenced Sattar to pay compensations for the Yemeni airlines company.

Worthy mentioning that the high-jacker intended to head for Baghdad but members of the plane crew could control him in Djibouti.

The Yemeni Boeing 727 plane was in an internal flight in Yemen, having in its board some 91 persons including the US ambassador in Sanaa Barbara Budin.
