Morocco, Malawi establish diplomatic relations

Morocco and Malawi decided to establish diplomatic relations at ambassadorial level as of January 31.

Morocco and Malawi decided, out of desire to promote and consolidate relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries, to establish diplomatic relations at ambassadorial level, announced a joint communiqué that was signed on January 31 in Pretoria.

Morocco and Malawi are firmly convinced that the establishment of such relations would serve the two countries' interests, the communique said.
