Morocco, Yemen to upgrade fishery cooperation
Morocco and Yemen have convened to upgrade cooperation in the field of maritime fisheries and set up the 2000-2001 cooperation program.
The decisions were made during the first session of the Moroccan-Yemeni joint commission on maritime fisheries that convened here earlier this week, under the co-chairmanship of Moroccan minister of maritime fisheries, Said Chbaatou, and Yemeni minister of sea resources, Ahmed Moussa Hossein.
The program provides for cooperation in vocational training, scientific research, fish products trading, in addition to promotion of investments and partnership between the two countries.
The Yemeni delegation to the session visited the ports of Agadir and Casablanca and held talks with several Moroccan officials.
