The Saudi daily al-Watan said on Wednesday quoting sources in Amman saying that Jordan had received new Syrian assertions to release all Jordanian political detainees held in the Syrian jails.

Sources of the committee of the Jordanian detainees families in Syria said that arrangements are currently underway between the Jordanian foreign ministry and the Syrian sides concerned to release all political detainees.
