Originally published

An Indonesian MP delegation, led by vice-speaker of the Popular Consultative Council Matori Abdeljalil, arrived Tuesday in Casablanca for a four-day work visit to Morocco.

The delegation will have talks with several Moroccan officials, including speaker of the chamber of advisors (upper house of parliament), Mostafa Okacha, and heads of parliamentary groups and committees. Talks will cover means to upgrade relations between Rabat and Jakarta.

The Indonesian delegation will also meet with Moroccan Prime Minister, Abderrahmane Youssoufi.

"The visit is meant to establish a bilateral partnership in all fields," Abdeljalil told the Moroccan first TV channel RTM upon arrival.

"The visit will also help consolidate the already strong relations binding the two countries in political, economic, cultural and social realms," he added.
