Hawatemah and relations with Syria

The secretary general of the Democratic Front for Liberation of Palestine Nayef Hawatemah said in the course of his statement to the Jordanian paper al-Aswaq that Palestinian- Syrian relations might witness during the few coming weeks a correction and revival process.

Hawatemah added that convening a bilateral meeting between the two sides is an open possibility, although there are still some elements of exchanged caution from the two sides over what will be the results of the Israeli elections on February 6th.
