The Tunisian Manji Bu Snenah has become ALECSO secretary general

The Tunisian Manji Bu Snenah was elected as a news director general for the Arab league Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization ALECSO for a term of office from 2001 to 2005, in conclusion of the works of ALECSO's 15th conference.

Bu Snenah has succeeded the former ALECSO's secretary general the Algerian Muhammad al-Meili.Bu Snenah was born in 1944. He has a BA in geography and history and a doctorate in sciences and literatures. He was appointed a minister of culture in 1991 before he was appointed as an ambassador for his country in al-Rabat in 1995 and an ambassador in Paris in 1997.
