Arab follow up committee meets in Amman on January 10

The committee in charge of following up the resolutions of the Arab summit recently held in Cairo will convene a meeting in Amman on February 10 with the participation of delegations representing the Arab states members in the said committee.

An official source at the Jordanian foreign ministry asked not to be identified told the London-based al-Sharq al-Awsat ( Middle East) daily that the committee will continue considering the resolutions of the recent Arab summit which was held in Cairo in October, 2000 especially the development of political events in the region, as well as the bloody events in the Palestinian territories and the efforts exerted to put an end to them.
