Israel expects a destructive earthquake within 50 years

An Israeli report noted that there is a possibility to have an earthquake to hit the region with " historical Palestine" as a center within the 50 coming years and that this earthquake will result in heavy casualties in Israel of 10-11 thousands killed and 22 strongly wounded.

A report by the guidance committee of the Israeli ministry of housing said that this earthquake will leave some 230,000 Israelis homeless, will totally demolish 8,000 houses and of a total losses in properties estimated at US $ 50 billion.

The report which was broadcast by the Israeli TV on Tuesday explained that these estimates do not include economic losses resulting from destroying streets, bridges, ports and airports and other installations.

The report said that the Israeli government ahs started to take protective measures to alleviate the consequences of this expected earthquake.
