The Jordanian weekly Sheihan said in its Saturday issue, according to well-informed sources that the foreign minister of Qatar Sheikh Hamad Bin Jasem al-Thani held by the end of last week a secret visit to Amman during which he conveyed a message from the Hamas leaders who are in Doha to the Jordanian government and the Movement's view to settle the question of its presence on the Jordanian arena. A situation which was practically started with the halt to chasing of one of the movement's leaders Muhammad Nazzal.
The sources added that the Qatari minister held during his visit to Amman which lasted for two days separate talks which thought to have led to drawing a mechanism to settle the matter as a whole in preparation for the return back of the Hamas leaders Khaled Mashaal, Ibrahim Ghoushe and Izzat al-Rishq and not only to halt legal chasing of them.
The sources said that it is believed that Sheikh Hamad conveyed to the Jordanian officials the consent of Hamas leaders the conditions set by the Jordanian government. These include the government not to carry out any activity, on the ground it is not a Jordanian organization ( Movement). N.
