Prince moulay Rachid on board spanish school-ship
Morocco's Prince Moulay Rachid visited Thursday afternoon the Spanish navy school-ship "Juan Sebastian de Elcano" at the Casablanca harbor.
Prince Moulay Rachid toured the ship with the captain and the Spanish ambassador and was briefed on history and achievements of the vessel.
Sailing since 1927, what has been dubbed the Spanish "floating embassy" has a crew of 252 and 40 officers and has already been around the world three times.
The ship won several prestigious sail-races and included King Juan Carlos and crown prince Felipe among outstanding trainees who learned under its famed sails the hard job of "guardiamarinas."
