Moroccan, Libyan businessmen identify industrial cooperation opportunities

Originally published

Moroccan and Libyan businessmen have identified several fields of cooperation in the sector of industry during the visit a delegation from the Confederation GÈnérale des Entreprises Du Maroc (CGEM/employers association) paid to Libya January 5 through 8.

The Libyan side proposed that Moroccan operators cooperate in the rehabilitation of some 145 industrial units dealing in the textile, metallurgy, mechanical, electronic and construction sectors.

The Moroccan operators can rent these units, run them, participate in their capital or contribute know-how. A Moroccan-European-Libyan tripartite cooperation is also possible and Moroccan labor can be hired by these units.
