Common grounds in Morocco-EU fishery talks are hard to reach, says french ambassador
The compromise between the European Union and Morocco on the fishery issue is very "hard to achieve because of the gap between stands," said French ambassador to Rabat Michel de Bonnecorse. The diplomat told MAP "should an agreement be reached, we would rejoice" as long as it profits both sides.
De Bonnecorse underlined the "median stand" of his country on the fishery file and voiced hope the Swedish presidency of the European Union would exert an "influence of mediation."
