Expected ministerial reshuffle in Jordan

Originally published

A well-informed Jordanian official has expected a reshuffle on the Jordanian government of Ali Abu al-Ragheb after the ordinary Arab summit due to be held in Amman in March or the beginning of April.

In an exclusive statement to the Jordanian weekly al-Bilaad issued on Tuesday, the Jordanian government official denied what has been recently rumored on an expected ministerial reshuffle within 48 hours.

He explained that current conditions do not permit any government's reshuffle because this government is responsible for completing responsibilities at the meantime, especially approving the state's general budget, preparations for the economic consultation conference and preparations for the ordinary Arab summit.
