Drifting Boat With Illegal Immigrants Saved Off Spanish Coasts

Spanish sea squads saved on Saturday off the Spanish southern shores of Almeria one of two small boats that were missing since last Thursday.

Private news agency Europa Press reports the small boat, carrying 27 Moroccans -including a minor- was spotted by a helicopter on Saturday at 20 miles off the Almeria coast.

The other missing boat was not spotted yet.

The two boats were reported missing by families of the passengers who were trying to migrate illegally to Spain.
