Iranian dailies criticize statements of the Gulf states

Iranian dailies issued on Tuesday criticized the statements of the Gulf Cooperation Council GCC recent summit held in Manama especially relating to its position concerning Iran towards the three islands under conflict and expressed regret over this position ( by the GCC member states) towards this issue.

The Iranian dailies Keyhan al-Arabi, al-Wefaq and Joumhori Islami said that the statement was regrettable and shocking and that the language used in al-Manama summit and it flagrant interference in the affairs of the others' country are but a violation with the simplest International rights and laws.

The Iranian papers also considered the statement as an axe which strikes the roots of stability and security in the region unless decision- makers will challenge this dangerous mission.

The Iranian dailies described the GCC statement as a new step to draw the curtain on developments and news of the brave Palestinian uprising and to divert the attention from the Zionist danger which threatens the ME region as a whole.
