A new minister of the Interior in Qatar

The ruler of Qatar Sheikh Hamad Bin Khaleifa al-Thani on Tuesday in Doha appointed Sheikh Abdullah Khaled al-Thani as a minister of the Interior. A post which was used to be occupied by the prime minister besides his post as a prime minister.

The Qatari news agency said that the ruler of Qatar appointed Sheikh Hamad Bin Nasser Bin Jasem al-Thani as a minister of state for internal affairs, the post used to be occupied by the new Qatari minister of the interior.

Qatar's prime minister Sheikh Abdullah Bin Khaleifa al-Tnani which was appointed a prime minister in 1996 had the post of the minister of the Interior.
