Algeria, Morocco share strong unification elements, FLN chief

Originally published

Algeria and Morocco share several strong unification elements, said Boualam Ben Hamouda, president of the Algerian National Liberation Front (FLN), former single party.

What unites Algeria and Morocco is stronger than what separates them, Ben Hamouda told the Egyptian Al-Ahram daily.

The FLN chief said he was optimistic as to the positive results of the ongoing initiatives to warm up relations between Rabat and Algiers.

Ben Hamouda also called for materializing the aspirations of the Maghreban peoples to unification.
