A Syrian- Turkish friendship committee

The Speaker of the Syrian people's Assembly (parliament) Abdul Qader Qaddoura on Monday issued a decision provides for the establishment of a Syrian- Turkish parliamentary friendship society, chaired by Omar al- Shalet, the chairman of the planning and production committee at the parliament. The mission of this committee is to strengthen friendship ties between the two countries in regard to parliamentary issues.
