King Mohammed inaugurates mosque in Atlas mountain town
Morocco's King Mohammed VI, accompanied by Prince Moulay Rachid, dedicated over the weekend the Annour Mosque in Azrou, an Atlas Mountain town.
The foundation stone of the mosque was laid in 1988 by the Late King Hassan II.
The mosque is built over 4 hectares and includes a 3,323-square-meter prayer hall, a library and other facilities. Construction works cost $ 10 million.
The king distributed foodstuff to needy people at the Mejjat rural locality, near Meknes.
