Numeiri and the Sudanese elections

The commission in charge of the Sudanese general elections gave a grace period until 12:00 noon ( Monday for the former Sudanese President Jaafar Numeiri and Sadiq al-Haj Abu Dafeira to complete their papers and pay necessary fees in order to be adopted as two candidates for the Presidency.

On Sunday late night, the elections commission closed nomination door after it had adopted four candidates who are: Omar Hassan al-Bashir; Mahmoud Jiha, Dr. Malik Hussein and al-Samou’al Hussein Mansour.
