Jordanian parliament speaker nominates himself for new parliamentary session

The speaker of the Jordanian parliament Abdul Hadi al-Majali has nominated himself for the new presidency session of the parliament which will be held on November 25.

Jordanian parliamentary sources said that al-Majali's decision came following vast consultations in which the majority of the Jordanian parliament members took part.

These parliamentarians were persistent to nominate al-Majali for the new parliamentary session after he had earlier announced non- willingness to be nominated for this post.
