Mubarak: Egypt's parliamentary history
Egypt's President Hosni Mubarak described this year's elections, held under judicial supervision for the first time ever in Egypt's parliamentary history, as a leading and excellent experience, and hoped that in the future elections would witness larger turnouts because this time, it was not as high as expected, especially in the cities. "We hope the voters trust what we say because we want members of parliament to be elected on sound and firm bases," he added.
