Moroccan artists commemorate 40th day of Palestinian child's assassination
An artistic and cultural event was held Friday evening in Casablanca in commemoration of the 40th day of the death of Palestinian child Mohamed Jamal Addora, assassinated by the Isreali army.
Several musicians and lyrics writers participated in the event, organized by the free trade union of Moroccan musicians, to commemorate the 40th day of the assassination of Jamal Addora and to back the Al-Aqsa intifadah. Several poems, including one by Mani' Said Al-Oteiba (United Arab Emirates), were read out on the occasion.
The event, said renowned actor Ahmed Taieb El Elj, is meant to voice Moroccan artists' solidarity with the Palestinian people in their struggle against Israeli occupation.
Moroccan artists and musicians decided to hold several shows whose receipts will be donated to the Palestinian people to support the intidadah (uprising).
