Originally published

The spiritual leader of the Palestinian National resistance movement ( Hamas) Sheikh Ahmad Yassin on Sunday called for converting the Palestinian uprising into an armed resistance to end the Israeli occupation.

In a press conference he held in his house in Gaza on Sunday, Sheikh Yassin added that al- Aqsa uprising should be converted into an armed uprising that to be up to the level of confronting the Israeli enemy and inflecting losses in its lines so as " to give up its aggression and occupation of our lands and holy sites and our people to be able to restore back their lands and shrines."

Yassin continued that the uprising will continue by all its current forms " and we do think that the stone will be changed into a bomb and the uprising will be converted from that uprising of the stones to an armed one because the enemy only understands the language of force."
