Morocco to regulate access to adult material in cyber-cafes
The Moroccan government is drafting legislation to regulate access to adult material in cyber-cafés, said minister in charge of relations with Parliament Mohamed Bouzoubaa.
The draft bill regulates license delivery and sanctions for cyber-clubs, opening hours and age limits, said Bouzoubaa at question time Wednesday.
The minister surveyed existing legislation and updating required saying clubs can operate under due licensing by the National Telecommunications Regulation Agency (ANRT) provided legal sanctions are added to ban easy access to pornographic web-sites in public spaces.
