Kuwait lauds Morocco's action for Kuwaiti pows in Iraq
The Kuwaiti committee in charge of prisoners affairs has lauded Morocco's efforts for the liberation of Kuwaitis jailed in Iraq. "The initiatives made by Morocco to free Kuwaitis jailed or reported missing in Iraq are laudable," said Khaled Ramdan, an official from the committee, who met early this week with a delegation of visiting Moroccan reporters.
"Morocco is the country most placed to play an active role in this field," he said, paying tribute to the action led in this connection by the late King Hassan II.
