Egypt to suspend links with Al-Jizera TV

Egypt's Minister of Information, Safwat A1-Sherif expressed his resentment at the abusive practices of Qatari Satellite Channel A1-Jizera that do harm to nothing but Arab solidarity and cooperation.

"Egypt is a country with long history and great civilization that cannot get involved in activities that diverge from the Arab cause. Free discussions are symptoms of democracy when they are objective," said Sherif.

Sherif wondered when Arab satellite channels will stop such abusive practices.

At the end, Sherif warned of an action to suspend all media ties with the Qatari satellite channel if it does not stop such practices.
