Iraq defies the embargo and resumes internal air flights
Iraq decided on defying the imposed air embargo on it in north and south by resuming internal air flights.
Iraqi transportation minister Ahmed Mortada said that resuming the internal air flights will be among the capital Baghdad, Basra city in the south and Mowsel city in the north starting from coming Sunday.
He stated that aviation engineers are exerting strong efforts in association with Russian experts to finish the necessary technical arrangements to resume the banned flights since nearly 10 years.
