Oil sector development prospects in Morocco probed

Industry, trade, energy and mining minister Mustapha Mansouri met in Rabat heads of the Moroccan oil industry (GPM) for a thorough scrutiny of development prospects for oil-product distribution in the kingdom. A department release said works centered on problems facing the industry due to oil price-hikes on international market and the project of a partnership between the sector and government.

Under the project, oil-firms will be investing $ 350 million over the next three years in updating distribution facilities, upgrading security standards and increasing stocking capacity creating 3,000 new jobs.
