Morocco,UNICEF health and child-protection cooperation probed

Health minister Thami Khyari met here UNICEF representative to Morocco Olivier Theo Degreef to probe means to enhance bilateral cooperation, says a department release.

Both sides, which covered several aspects of the cooperation program, insisted on the need for joint action in wider sanitary coverage of rural areas, nutritional problems and children diseases.

Khyari hailed action by UNICEF in the kingdom and invited the UN fund to back his department strategy aimed at securing wider access to drugs in rural areas and city-suburbs.
