Attempt to sneak into Israel

Israeli military sources have expressed their convictions that the persons who on Friday evening tried to cross the Lebanese- Israeli borders belong to a Palestinian organization working under the umbrella of the Hizbullah party.

The Israeli radio on Sunday quoted Israel's deputy minister of defense Afraem Seneh as saying that the assessments made by the Israeli army indicated that after the withdrawal of the Israeli forces from South Lebanon, the Hizbullah Party might use Palestinian organizations to leak into Israel.

To this effect, an Israeli military source said that one armed man was killed on Friday night " during an attempt made by a terrorist" group to cross the border between Lebanon and israel" and to attack the electronic fence.

Meantime, the Hizbullah Party denied any attack or links to what had happened.
